Hidden View is in the ideal location to enjoy the great outdoors. Only a few miles away sit two entrances to the world renowned Appalachian Trail in the Blue Ridge Mountains: nearby Harper’s Ferry National Historic Park has excellent hiking, and guests love biking along the Washington-Old Dominion Trail.
Harper’s Ferry National Historic Park
Harper’s Ferry is the mid-point of the 2,178-mile Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and home to the non-profit Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) headquarters. Dogs are allowed on this trail, as long as they are on a leash.
Washington-Old Dominion Trail
This 45-mile paved trail allows visitors to run, cycle or skate along the former roadbed of the Washington & Old Dominion Railroad. There is also a 32-mile gravel horse trail, and multiple parking areas along the trails.
